Ok, i got the win7 RC1 and ie8 8.0.7100.0When i click on some pages like www.twitter.com/majornelsonor http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harmon_Rabbinstead of just opening the site, i get the download dialog up asking do i want to download it, it dose'nt even see it as a web page, it calls it "unknown file type"any ideas?ThanksStuart thecap

thecap007,I see this behavior when I open a new tab and then click a link (favorite) too fast. I have to wait for the tab to open properly first. Is this the behavior you see? Since you mention Widipedia, check out this thread.

Its not opening favs when i right click and "open in new tab" or just normal left click it happens.I looked at the page you posted and yes i did have google desktop installed, i removed it and now twitter seems to be ok but wiki is still hit and miss, but better then before.thanksthecap

thecap007,Not that it's a real fix, but did you register on the wiki site? That seems to have solved those people's problem with it.
