iconurl parameter is not working with Lync 2010 while Lync-Skype integration

Hi ,


we have Lync 2010 infra in our organization now we want to integrate LYnc with Skype we are facing issue -Iconurl command line parameters , below command is not executing giving error saying Iconurl is not identified ...

New-CsPublicProvider -Identity Skype -ProxyFqdn federation.messenger.msn.com -IconUrl "https://images.edge.messenger.live.com/Messenger_16x16.png" -VerificationLevel 2 -Enabled 1

i did all setting done from Lync-skype provision guide on MS portal and activation has also done and Skype is available in list from Get-CSpublicprovider results.

is there any alternanative solution , how can we complete above process on Lync 2010.

Skype integration supports on Lync 2010 , please help.

The iconurl parameter is not valid in Lync 2010: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg398161(v=ocs.14).aspx Run the command without it.

Hi,

IconUrl parameter is only known in Lync Server 2013.
