Drivers come from the hardware vendor, I do not see they have wn 7 drivers for those boxesYou will need to contact HP or try the vista drivers.

Hi, Those type of device will be recognized once you install chipset driver correctly. First of all, I would like to know how did you get current drivers for your laptops, from HP driver download center or any 3rd party website? Are they Windows 7 compatible? Do you have any chipset driver downloaded? If there is no Windows 7 compatible driver for them, you may try to install Vista driver in compatible mode. For your hp dv6227 cl If your OS is 32bit, pls download the Vista chipset driver from: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=2093&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=3340166&lang=en If your OS is 64bit, pls download the Vista chipset driver from: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=2100&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=3340166# For your compaq f700, If your OS is 32bit, pls download the Vista chipset driver from: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=2093&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=3636382 if your OS is 64 bit, pls download the Vista chipset driver from: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=2100&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=3636382 if you don’t know how to install the driver in compatible mode, you can refer to the website below: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/w7itprohardware/thread/80cae5ee-dc98-4a2f-8284-a1ab826059b7 pls restart the computer and try to check Device Manger. Open your device manager. And then change the view to “Device by connection”. Find your PCI bus and check whether there is a “!” or a “?” mark. If there is any, pls right click it and select “update driver software” and follow the wizard to scan driver update from Microsoft Or if you know the name of the hardware, you can search it in http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Home.aspx to find the driver of your device. After finding it, you can install the driver following the wizard to scan from your own disk. Pls restart the computer after installing it. If installing in Vista compatible mode doesn't work, you should contact Hp ventor( http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/contact_us.html) for help
