i need to know ASAP with bitlocker
I activated BitLocker at my school using windows 7 I went to the library to use public computers I went onto my USB to try and disable it but i can't. is there a way to disable BitLocker on a public computer?

It sounds like you're talking about BitLocker To Go. Was the second computer you used a Windows 7 computer? BitLocker To Go is only compatible with Windows 7 and 8. Also, it is possible that a computer that is at a library that has been locked down will not give you access to the BitLocker configuration screens that will allow you to disable BitLocker.

Hi, Agreed with kobeckman, it seems that you are using BitLocker To Go feature. If so, you can decrypt the USB drive in other Windows 7. However, if the computers in your library are running Windows XP or Windows Vista, you may need to install BitLocker To Go Reader. Also, it is recommended to contact your school library system administrator for help.
