i get a blue screen when I start my computer with no messages
I have windows xp - when I start my computer is shows a black screen saying "windows is loading files..." then it shows "microsoft corporation" in the bottom of the screen then is goes to a blue screen and seems to stop working. I have no error messages. I've tried system restore and it goes through the same screens always ending with the blue screen. I have 3 system restore CD's that were given to me when I purchased the computer and that doesnt work either.1 person needs an answerI do too

If the computer will not complete a factory restore then you have hardware failure. You can troubleshoot this yourself: http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Hardware_Tshoot Testing hardware failures often involves swapping out suspected parts with known-good parts. If you can't do the testing yourself and/or are uncomfortable opening your computer, take the machine to a professional computer repair shop (not your local equivalent of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad).MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!

Thank you. I will call a local repair shop and have them find the problem.
