iTunes application error, KERNALBASE.DLL
I open iTunes and the iTunes window pops up, then in the top box it says it is accessing iTunes store and stops half way. Then another box opens up and says "iTunes has stopped working." Below is what is found in the event log. Faulting application name: iTunes.exe, version:, time stamp: 0x4f56cf56 Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 6.1.7601.17651, time stamp: 0x4e2111c0 Exception code: 0x80000003 This is something I have been working on for a while. I have tried uninstalling iTunes then reinstalled, that didn't work. I have uninstalled everything Apple and reinstalled, that didn't work. One thing that has partially worked is I made another profile in Windows and iTunes works in the new profile, but I would like it to work in my profile. What else can I do?? Thanks!!!

Thank you! I had the exact same issue. Following the suggestion to rename the iTunes folder worked like a charm!
