iSCSI don't reconnect after reboot
Hi i have Windows Vista 64bit. I have a NAS with a iSCSI target. I connect on my target without problems. My only problem is after i reboot my Pc, it not connect with iSCSI target. It remain alwayse in "reconnecting" status. I have to remove the portal and the old connection. After this i can reconnect. I have tried with and without CHAP. Is the same. I have also tried with my Win7 laptop and there aren't any kind of problems. After restart my laptop, Win 7 reconnect my target immediatly. Have you any idea why on Vista i have this problem? Thx

Not sure if either one of these will solve your problem, but they are worth trying: 1- While you ar loging for the first time, there is a checkbox that you can select to reconnect after reboot. Check that first and then login. Then try to see if it solved your problem. 2- If that did not solve the problem, try this: uninstall iSCSI initiator from your vista and go to microsoft, search "iSCSI", and find latest iSCSI Initiator for 64 bit and download and install it. Then try to see if it solved your problem. BJBJ

What target do you use? Can you install anything else on probably other machine to isolate the issue (target Vs. initiator)? AK
