Network utilization on my primary network is at 0% all the time, I have Bluetooth network conn, Ethernet, zte usb modem, virtualbox host-only network and wifi adapter-which is the only one connected. update speed is set on high so it should reflect quickly.

Without more information about your network environment, it is hard to understand your questions. We wonder how many network connections you have, and every configuration about them. If you have multiple connection on your machine, have you made any options such like changing route table manually? Do you mean a wired Ethernet connection with Internet as primary network? Make sure your network drivers are up to date.
