how to report a bug? no more bug reporting allowed?
screensavers are nice to use but if im trying to watch a video i dont want it coming up and freezing the video. this happened when i was watching a video in IE8 how to reproduce: set screensaver to bubbles went to www.youtube.com clicked advertisement for Terminator movie installed shockwave ran movie clip bubbles began coming up as the screensaver was set for 1 minute and the screen freezes of course while things go on in the background this is fine for apps i dont want to watch. but a video was running and it was frozen. i could hear the audio proceeding. when i moved the mouse the video resumed in time with the audio.

that is not the issue. the issue is that there is a bug here. it should not do this. if a video is running this should be enough to keep a screen saver from popping up. of course i could set the screen saver from running and that's what i am doing now.

Starfire - Microsoft removed the built in bug reporting tools from the RC. This is to make it as close to the final release as possible. You can post bugs here as they come up. There are some guys from Microsoft who check these forums for issues and if they see something that needs to be fixed, they will pass the information on to the programmers. As far as your issue goes... I don't think it's a bug. It's working properly. The screensaver is supposed to pop in after the inactivity timer goes off. But here's why it's not something that can easily be fixed. If you're watching a clip online - more often than not it's streaming a flash or shockwave object. If all Flash animations stopped the screensaver from launching, then you'll NEVER get the screensaver to kick in any time you have a copy of IE (or any other browser that supports Flash) openand you're on a page with a Flash ad on it.Ever. That kind of defeats the purpose of having a screensaver... No?If you trust those who make the Flash animations to not abuse the means to disable a screensaver, then I think you're mistaken. They WILL abuse it if only to try and convince you to buy whatever they're trying to sell.
