how to remove domain setting in windows 7
I am using windows 7 professional. when I install windows 7, my account was associated with domain settings. I do not want any domain settings. I just want a simple account. Besides, with domain settings in windows 7, I cannot access it from my another windows xp laptop. How to remove this domain settings?

Hi, Would you please let me know if your computer joined the domain? If so, the computer will apply the domain group policy automatically. If you don't want the settings, just leave the domain or login with the local account. Only joining the domain can you login with domain account. What you want to access from Windows XP laptop? The sharing file or remote desktop? What error message did you receive? Please make sure you can ping Windows 7 from Windows XP. To remove the PC from the Domain it must be physically attached to the Domain and someone with Domain Admin privileges must change its membership from Domain to Workgroup.
