hi everyone, in Windows XP, there was an option in Windows Updates that, if you did not want to install specific update, you were unmarking those update, and then there was given a message window like "do not show this message anymore".... and this update was not appearing there any more... is such thing in windows 7, there is one update that i dont want to install, and on every restart of system its appearing in windows update window... any ideas?

To hide an update, click the Windows Update icon in the Notification Area (bottom right of screen), click Important Updates (or Optional) then right-click the one to be hidden > Hide update.
