mauricio de la quintana,

I am not faniliar with Ubuntu, fro Hyper-V, if we would like to enable VMs to use the local recourses on the host, then we should enable the Enhanced session mode.

More informatioon, please check:

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn282274.aspx

To be able to use a computers local resources on a virtual machine:

  • The Hyper-V host  must have Enhanced session mode policy and Enhanced session mode settings turned on.
  • The computer that you use to connect to the virtual machine with VMConnect must run Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012, or Windows Server 2012 R2.
  • The virtual machine must have Remote Desktop Services enabled and run Windows Server 2012 R2 or Windows 8.1 as the guest operating system.

We may consider to install a remote server on the Ubuntu Virtual machine, then connect to it and configure to use the local resources.

Enhanced Session mode only works for RDP based connections to VMs (as that it was it is) - which Ubuntu does not support as it does not have an RDP server that you can install to make an RDP connection to.

SSH is merely a console connection, again not the solution.

You need a full XWindows style client to bring the sound forth.  Or you need to do a dual boot installation and boot to the Windows OS or boot tot he Ubuntu OS.

This is far closer to what you want to accomplish: http://askubuntu.com/questions/163155/how-do-i-access-my-remote-ubuntu-server-via-x-windows-from-my-mac

But it depends on your client side machine having a support for am xwindow client.  I will let you search for that.

The only other option that I am aware of is the Citrix Linux virtual desktop client.  Which is built to serve connections to Linux datacenter based VDI instances to end users.  This is a robust enterprise solution.  And my impression is that is not what you are looking for.  http://www.citrix.com/news/announcements/aug-2014/citrix-offers-technology-preview-of-linux-virtual-apps-and-deskt.html
