how to disconnect from a VPN network?
Sounds pretty easy doesn't it? Of course I have googled and found this http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg252610(WS.10).aspx but guess what - there is nothing to be done in that "currently connected" miniwindow popup. No left or right click does anything. There is nothing in network and sharing center as well. I just see an icon of the VPN I am connected and I can change it to home, work or public and that's all. When I want to connect to a different VPN it says that modem is busy or something like that. It seems I can go to "change adapter settings" and disable my NIC, but I don't really like this way of doing it... I use Windows 7 64bit.

Hi, Generally speaking, under Currently connected to, you would see your VPN connection; if you click the connection, you would get the Disconnect button. If you cannot see it, you can give us some related screenshots for a better understanding: How to capture a screenshot ========================= 1) Press the Print Screen key (PrtScn) on your keyboard. 2) Click the "Start" menu, type "mspaint" in the Search Bar and Press Enter. 3) In the Paint program, click the "Edit" menu, click "Paste", click the "File" menu, and click "Save". 4) The "Save As" dialogue box will appear. Type a file name in the "File name:" box, for example: "screenshot". 5) Make sure "JPEG (*.JPG;*.JPEG;*.JPE;*.JFIF)" is selected in the "Save as type" box, click “Desktop” on the left pane and then click "Save". 6) Then Upload to SkyDrive.
