how to delete a windows 8.1 mail account when 'attention is required' = no sign in possible
my account settings have been changed by the service provider and I can not sign into the mail account via the mail app. without signing in a delete of the mail account in windows 8.1 is impossible and so far adding the new account with the
same4 name does not work

If that be the case then you must contact your service provider and explain him the situation so that he can make necessary changes in the said account settings to restore mail account.
