how to block movie files in win 7
hi I need to block some movie file extensions, such as .MKV, .AVI , WMV, FLV, MP4... etc I need suggesstions, can I block via group policies ? will it be possible ? or any other method. computer running win 7 pro 32 bit edition. or shall I use third party software to block. it will be wonderful if someone can tell me a windows based method to block it. computer is not connected to a domain thank you U.L Ranmal

Hi, Based on my experience, we cannot control these setting as we wish, to play video files is controlled by video codec, Windows Media Player and other programs use codecs to play and create digital media files.
