how many network connections can a windows 7 computer handel?
how many network connections can a windows 7 computer handel? I beleve than XP PRO was limited to 10 simultainous connections. Is there such a limit in Window7 PRO ? Windows 7 Ultimate? Windows 7 Enterprise?

XP Pro was limited to 10, and I have no reason to believe that it's any different with Win7. There is no difference between Pro, Enterprise, or Ultimate in this regard. The reason for this limit is to discourage the use of client o/s's as file-servers for large peer-to-peer networks. Windows Servers are designed for this, and what's more, you get Active Directory into the bargain, which makes administration of large networkds far more efficient.

Hi, The limited of each Windows 7 version is 20 simultaneous users. You can check by the following method.
