Hi, I would like to know why you want to start all Windows services. It is not necessary to start them all. What operating system are you running? What error message did you receive when trying to start the services manually? Start Service ---------------------- 1. Click Start, type Services.msc in Start Search bar, and then press Enter. 2. In the right pane, double-click service name which you want to start. 3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, click Apply, click Start, and then click OK. Meanwhile, please run SFC to check the corrupted system files. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833 Best Regards, Niki Please remember to click "Mark as Answer" on the post that helps you, and to click "Unmark as Answer" if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Hi, Go to control Panel, double click administrative tools icon And now double click services icon. Here you got : a list of all services and their status is displayed. Choose any service you need to start and click "start" button. Welcome

Good afternoon, thonson. I am not sure if you mean processes, not services, but for the services the easiest way for me is from cmd line, especially when my computer runs that slow. Click start, run, type cmd and a command wondow will pop up. Issue the following commands: sc query - it will list all the running services sc stop servicename - it will stop a service, repl;ace servicename with the SERVICE_NAME field value from the first command output Example: C:\Users>sc query SERVICE_NAME: WSearch DISPLAY_NAME: Windows Search TYPE : 10 WIN32_OWN_PROCESS STATE : 4 RUNNING (STOPPABLE, NOT_PAUSABLE, ACCEPTS_SHUTDOWN) WIN32_EXIT_CODE : 0 (0x0) SERVICE_EXIT_CODE : 0 (0x0) CHECKPOINT : 0x0 WAIT_HINT : 0x0 SERVICE_NAME: wuauserv DISPLAY_NAME: Windows Update TYPE : 20 WIN32_SHARE_PROCESS STATE : 4 RUNNING (STOPPABLE, NOT_PAUSABLE, ACCEPTS_PRESHUTDOWN) WIN32_EXIT_CODE : 0 (0x0) SERVICE_EXIT_CODE : 0 (0x0) CHECKPOINT : 0x0 WAIT_HINT : 0x0 SERVICE_NAME: wudfsvc DISPLAY_NAME: Windows Driver Foundation - User-mode Driver Framework TYPE : 20 WIN32_SHARE_PROCESS STATE : 4 RUNNING (NOT_STOPPABLE, NOT_PAUSABLE, IGNORES_SHUTDOWN) WIN32_EXIT_CODE : 0 (0x0) SERVICE_EXIT_CODE : 0 (0x0) CHECKPOINT : 0x0 WAIT_HINT : 0x0 C:\Users> sc stop wudfsvc Regards, Chris
