I have IE8 and windows live care. How do i stop outlook express (which is not default) from down loading mail at same time as windows live? If I put OE off line it puts IE8 off line also. msconfig does not have the exe ("C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe")for OE listed. I also went to c: program/outlook express and tried to delete the files. when I delete one it pops right back in the folder. so I can't remove it off the computer. I am going to try removing accounts now.

OK. Piece of cake.In Windows Search, you have to tell it to stop indexing OE, even though you are not using it.Windows Search. Set Desktop Search Options: http://www.microsoft.com/australia/windows/desktopsearch/search/options.mspxIn the Windows Control Panel | Indexing Options | Modify.
