mine keeps showing up security shield warning with threats

"Security Centre " or Security Shield that annoyingly keep popping up are fake alerts by malware.Your computer is infected with malware. To remove the malware note down or take a print out of the below mentioned steps and follow the same; Step1:Boot your computer in “Safemode with Networking”.Check the link below for instructions to boot in “SafeMode withNetworking”.http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/boot_failsafe.mspx?mfr=trueStep2:Once the computer is in Safemode with Networking open the Internet Explorer and go toWindows Live OneCare Safety Scanner web site .1. Proceed tohttp://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm(http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm) then click on the blue button "Full Service Scan". 2. Click “Accept” on the Service Agreement.”3. Click "Install Now" button.NOTE: If installation is unsuccessful, click on theInformation Bar below the address bar then click "Install ActiveX Control"4. When a Security Warning dialog box appears, asking you if you want to install the Windows Live Safety Center Component scanner, please click “Install”.5. Click on "Launch Scanner" button.6.
