Once you get into Windows, go to Start>My computer> Right click the C: drive>Select "properties"> Click the "Tools" tab> and then click on the "Check now" box, and once the window pops up, check BOTH of the little boxes and then click start, and wait and see. Tell us your findings.Young and Learning... Have Mercy

Try rolling back to your last known system configuration, reboot your Computer and continue hitting f8 until you are brought to a place that asks you to select an option. Use arrow keys and go down to "boot to last know good configuration" Hit enter, and see if that does anything. If that doesn't work try using the system recovery disk that came with the purchase of Windows XPYoung and Learning... No no, you you use the REVOVERY CONSOLE! This can actually be installed onto the computer, and run from there ^_^, but if you have the XP CD you can do it off there too. Here's the How-to Article:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314058As for deleting your files, I have looked this up on many sites. The answers I get are:"No, it won't delete your files, but it is a good idea to back them up anyway."Young and Learning... Have Mercy.
