how can I configurate windows 7 so it doesn't copy the user (roaming) profile to the local pc?
We have pc in our network with limited space which are used by more than one user, so there are a lot of profiles stored on the local pc and this wears them down. I need to find a way that
windows reads and writes profile data directly to the server.

There is GPO that allows you to delete unused (freezed) local profiles after some time.

Thanks for the support, but we have roaming profiles; but they store the profiles locally on start up, this is sometimes more than 600MB of space, these profiles are not cleaned on logout so they keep on occupying space op the hardrive of the local
pc.
I want windows to directly load the roaming profile from the server and store nothing locally; this should be an configuration option, but i can't find it.

Hi Niki
This is indeed the next best thing, delete the profiles on log-off; I'm beginning to think this is the only option too :-)
thanks!
