please check all steps described here: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/43972-homegroup-add-computer-join.html most homegroup issues are related to the network not being recognized/configured as "home" location and firewall/connection issues: focus on those :)

Using Home Network you should be using the same password on all three computers. Is this your situation? Or, do you have a different password on the laptop? What is the exact error you are getting?

I am trying to setup my homegroup between 3 computers and when I click on network discovery it isn't sticking. I selected all of the options of printer, movies, music, etc. and have everything being looked for but it isn't taking. This is very disconserting. What am I doing wrong? I would put a screen shot in this message but it wouldn't let me paste it in. Can I get a step-by-step tutorial on what I need to do? I have exhausted my knowledge on how to fix it. One of the computers show up but the other two won't. Please help.
