home network problem
Hello, I have laptop A {tx1019au}(Windows Firewall On) seeing laptop A, incorrectly in Win Explorer Network, I want it to see B {dv6375us}. Laptop B (Norton Firewall On) is seeing A, correctly. Ad hoc connection, both VHP 32, both with strong WiFi connections through router. Both have exact same same file sharing config. I tried the cmd.exe, ping tx1019au to no success & dv6375us for same result. I ran cmd.exe, ipconfig/all>c:\ipconfig.txt on both, searched for: ipconfig.txt Did not appear but ipcongig did, I selected it and a cmd prompt screen flashed on/off so quickly unable to read, same on both comptrs. Help please. I do not know what to do next. Regards, Mark

This will give you an ipconfig listing that can be pasted into a document: Open a Run window (Windows key+R), type cmd and press Enter. Type cmd /k ipconfig /all | clip (note the spaces) and press Enter. Close the command window, open Notepad (or similar) and paste it (Ctrl+V).
