hijacked hotmail account
I need to shut down a hotmail account that is sending out messages that are not from me. I've tried the validation approach with no success or response, and this was sent up before I had another email to reset the password with. What can I do?1 person needs an answerI do too

We tried the things on the second link. The situation is that my dad set up a hotmail account 7 or 8 years ago. Someone is sending out messages from his account asking for money to be sent to the UK (not him!). He filled out the validation form but heard nothing back. He did it again, and heard nothing back. He did not have an alternate email address, so that is not an option. He doesn't remember what he put for the name of his first pet since he lived on a farm and had a bunch of animals and can't remember which one he chose. We've been trying to work on this for over a week and have a couple help tickets as well, but we're having a hard time doing something about this. Can you help?<input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"></input> <input id="jsProxy" onclick="jsCall();" type="hidden" />

No, I can't help. Sorry but I don't work for Microsoft or MSN. Since you already have trouble tickets in the system, perhaps someone in the Hotmail forums will have a good idea for you: Hotmail Community Forums - http://windowslivehelp.com/community/Default.aspxMS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
