hide wireless security key?
I have noticed thatyou can choose to"display characters"of a wireless profiles security key.Is there a way to block this access?In an office environment whereonly sys admins know thewpa key, and eneter it in for allusers. We dont want any users to know the key.thanks for the help! Loving windows 7 so far!

Yes we are having the same issue. We will not roll out anymore windows 7 laptops until we have a way to block or disable this for admins. I dont see anyway in GP to specifically block this either. Is there going to be a feature down the road for GP or anything official. I havent seen any official Microsoft answer addressing this yet.

Well, we are offically down the road. So, any idea how to grey out the "display characters" option?

I found if you enable UAC and drop the account to a standard user you are prompted for admin credintials when you try to unhide the key. This doesnt help me, but hopefully it works out for someone else. This should be an easy GP\Reg greyout but looks defective by design.
