I have a HP G60 laptop on Vista. I have used it since last November on my Virgin internet connection with no problems what so ever. Today I tried to connect but the internet connection said local only. I called virgin who tried to change the network from "Public" to "Private" as he said thats the problem causing it to not work wirelessly. My sons laptop works on the wireless connection just not mine. Every time he changes it it says its changed to private but then reverts back shortly after to Public. They have basically said I need to find out how to change it to Private from someone who knows.....please help me xx
