help with IPV6 network
Hi I have 2 computers connected over IPV4 but they go over a VPN and they can't route the homegroup properly, it's a limitation of the VPN it seems so I was wondering can I just add 2 IPV6 ips, create another network between those 2 computers and use that as a small intranet for just the homegroup transactions ? the computers are physically conected with cables but with the logic I can't make the homegroup work so it would be like trying to create a small 1-1 connection with IPV6 the equivalent of setting a network with static IPS on IPV4 on an intranet 10.x.x.x but on IPV6, can someone guide me on the right direction ? also I see that the PC placed some IPS on the IPV6 network already that I did not ad, so I am wondering if IPV6 can live alone or it has to coexist with IPV6 thank you

Hi, I think this may work. You may need to disable IPv4 and ensure all ports and protocols necessary are available via the VPN connection. For the detail information about how to configure the related firewall rules, please also refer to the following document: HomeGroup and Firewall Interaction Hope this helps.
