help me make radio station play?
Suddenly, I cannot play a radio station that I have on my Favorites Bar. http://www.927jillfm.com/ I must have made some settings change that messed it up. When I click the Listen Live Online button on the site's home page, now it pops a little Message From Webpage box after a short delay that says Cannot initialize embedded player. Please press STOP and PLAY to try again. But this never does anything. I have no idea what to do to fix this. Can someone who knows what I should do, please tell me in very basic terms how to resolve this?1 person needs an answerI do too

Thank you for including the URL. The site is fine, the player opens fine here (running Firefox 3.6.8 on OS X). What changes could you have made? Some suggestions:1. Try in a different browser. If you are using IE, download/install Firefox.2. What antivirus/security program do you have installed? Perhaps an update to it made the change. Do you recall any updates of this kind?3. In whatever browser you're using, make sure that popups are allowed. You can manage popups in Firefox from Options>Content. How you manage them in Internet Explorer depends on which version of IE you're using. Post back with that information or Google "manage popups IE[version number]".4. If none of the above avails/is applicable, since the change was apparently sudden do a System Restore to when things worked.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!

Thanks for your help.1. I only have IE. I'd prefer to only use it to keep life simple. Let's skip Firefox if we can.2. I use Security Essentials (not the Beta) on this Windows XP Tablet at home and not on a network. It is their most recent v1.0.1963.0 with Engine Version 1.1.6004.03. Popups are allowed on my IE8 on Tools > Internet Options > Privacy.4. I am afraid to do a System Restore, since I have also been fighting an issue with Security Essentials not being able to be uninstalled and then reinstalled but it is finally fixed and working. Apparently other folks had this same issue. It forced me to re-image my Windows XP ie start over on this pc. I saved all My Documents and have imported them and reinstalled all programs that I could (Adobe Acrobat 6.0 wouldn't reinstall so I had to skip it). In fact, I have been recently considering turning off System Restore so that it will delete all of the restore points and then turn it back on. This way, I would never go back into that mess. So I am afraid to go backwards with a restore.I would really like to ask for some help in trying to resolve this with changing settings etc. Can you advise me?

No, sorry. Your computer is in too much of a state for me to feel comfortable going further with it without being able to see the computer. Having a second browser installed doesn't make life more complicated; it makes troubleshooting simpler because you can then determine if the issue is system-wide or browser-specific. But you do what you want.Sorry I was unable to help you.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!

Sorry to scare you. I have downloaded Mozilla Firefox and it offered to import all of my favorites, which I did. So I went to the Jill FM favorite and clicked on Listen Live Online, and it popped up a box titled The page athttp://live365.com says: Warning: You are attempting to use an outdated version of Adobe Flash. Please upgrade to version 10 and try again.I have uninstalled the Flash Player in Add/Remove and have gone to the Adobe site to download again. By the way, I had version 10 which is what was removed. During the download, it ran for a while then says Adobe Flash Player 10.1 and Error - Installation Failed. I tried it again and as before, it goes to 100% then says it failed.Wow, this time it worked. Of course, it made me close my Yahoo Messenger and Internet Explorer. Although it said that it would close those and continue, I had to manually close them. But now it installed.Darn! After all that, I got that same box saying that I am trying to use an outdated version of Adobe Flash.

I sure don't know what is causing this to happen, but now my other pc is also doing this same thing. Must be some upgrade that I download at Windows Update or File Hippo (perhaps Adobe Flash Player?).
