You've turned on FilterKeys , which slows the keyboard repeat rate. To turn it off, go to Control Panel > Classic View > Accessibility Options .Steve Winograd, Microsoft MVP (Windows Desktop Experience)

I have tried to reset the filter keys and also have held down the left shift key to get the correct keystroke repeat rate back but nothing is working....are there any other things to try??? When i have the filter keys open and i type in the test space it's fine but when I go back to outlook or anyother prgram it's very very slow again...please help
