I had verizon DSL internetfor years, then I started losing the internet connection sporadically. I switched to another computer to see if that was the problem. When i called verizon they would tell me it was a good connection, because if you let it long enough the connection would restore itself.Finally they sent someone to fix and he said it was because the signal was going all over the place. he fixed...but not really, shortly after he left it started again. I dealt with it a couple weeks and then switched to a wireless internet provider (bugnet). The tower can be seen from my window, the guy who hooked it up said this was strongest signal,etc,etc. Guess what? It's happening just as bad as ever. Maybe worse. My Linksys router/modem is right by my computer. It's not using the old phone connection. I am being driven crazy by this. I don't know much about computers. Is there a reputable company who can help me? I have been getting an error message -error ### connection has timed out. My son's computer is also plugged into router, but it still acts up when I unplug his.1 person needs an answerI do too
