have wired network, works fine, when I start my laptop(vista) it kicks my other 2 desktops (1xp &1 windows 7) offline, after laptop gets online the other 2 desktops come back on line, I am using a linksys "wrt110" router

Hi, Please make sure that both other machines are not statically set to use the same IP address. It will be something to do with the WiFi Access Point handing out the same IP address to your WiFi connection as is currently in use on the wired LAN so if the IP Address is changed to a unused number it should cure your problem. Also check linksys website if they have any firmware update.
