hard drive memory too low
Have an older gateway. Original hd was 10 gig. Now am getting messages saying hd memory too low on drive C. Delete stuff to bring it back up. Have done that but still only about 180 meg. Am saving nothing on hd, just pin drives. What can I do to fix this. computer works well other wise. Help. Using Win xp home edition. Have deleted all unnecessary programs and files.1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi,So weprogress in the right direction;When you say "getting messages saying hd memory too low on drive C"Do you mean you get the message Your system is low on virtual memory. or You are running out of disk space on C: ?You also state the original drive was 10gb, has that been replaced? If so with what?Applications you have installed will also use disk space, Clean up what you dont need in Control Panel-> Add/Remove ProgramsRun a disk cleanup: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310312Please try to give information specificto the problem where you can.Thanks,
