I open gmail and see than I have a new message in an existing thread. When I click on it to read it, it doesn't display the new message, only the older thread. This happens in both firefox and ie. I can see the new message on my other computer and on my phone but not on this desktop pc. A similar problem in ebay....my summary says I need to pay for 1 item. I click on the link, then click Pay which takes me to a screen that says I've already checked out and paid for this item. I go back to the summary and it still says I need to pay for 1 item. I have tried uninstalling firefox and reinstalling. I also tried using ie with the same results.

Visit Java.com and click on Do I have Java?. Get the latest version if it is not updated. Do it for all browsers.
