gaming in win 7
whem i check the system requirments for some games it gaives that my os is not a recommended ie windows 7one and the game doesnt function in it.wht to do...can i play or not

nitw - That would likely depend on how much time and effort you want to put into making it work. Some games (those with certain copy protection schemes) won't work until the copy protection people patch their systems to allow those games to be installed and played. Others might need a few tweaks. Some may need to be run in compatability mode. Some may never work at all.. Without any more info, it's kinda hard to say. What games do you mean?

What game is it? And does the error screen give you an option to continue? If it does, go ahead. What's the worst that could happen, right?

If you know the name of the EXE or COM file (check your Start Menu item's properties), you can right click that file in Windows Explorer and select "Troubleshoot Compatibility". Windows 7 will make some best guesses on if and how to use compatibility settings which may allow your game to work.

i havnt had any trouble running any games so far, farcry 2, left4dead, couterstrike source, bioshock ect. just try your game out and use compatibility mode if you need to (i didnt)
