The gadgets in windows 7 are not working properly. I can open the gadget gallery and select a gadget, but it doesn't show the entire thing. For example i select the clock, and all it shows is a black square with the red ticking hand frozen. Another example is the CPU meter. All it shows when i click on it is a little white square where the meter should be. I can still close the gadgets by way of the close button on each gadget though (the calendar doesn't appear at all). and i try all the methods witch can be suggest by Microsoft but don't get any solution but same thing still happening. (It is Home edition if that makes any difference). If anyone could help that would be great!

method Uninstall and reinstall desktop gadgets and check if it helps. a. Go to Start > Control Panel. b. Open Programs and Features in the Control Panel. c. Click on Turn Windows features on or off in the left column of the Programs and Features window. d. Uncheck Windows Gadget Platform. e. Click OK. f. Click Restart Now to reboot the computer. g.
