fraudulent virus infection requiring purchase to eliminate
maybe I am in the wrong place -- I have twice had my computer taken over (Dell laptop running XP,) - it would not open any program or go on line via Outlook 8-- by a screen saying that I am infected -- persistant! could not get rid of it -- it insisted that I buy their AV program. of which i already use MSsecurity and AntiVirusGT firewalls on & updated -- scans using those found no infections -- Out of frustration I signed up for this obvious piece of malware and the agravation went away -- Program is called AV Security Suite =-- there must be away to block it or clean it off when it gets by the usually effective protections I have -- help!2 people need an answerI do too

To eliminate the effects of the phony virus cure restart the computer (for VISTA) and hit "SYSTEM RESTORE". This should clear it. The solution should be for MICROSOFT to track the seller of that program and have them arrested and jailed. If they do nothing about it there will be a lot more of these bandits!!!
