formatting Windows 7 drive
Since I'm dual booting Windows 7 on one hard drive and my primary hard drive has Vista 64 bit on it ( both OS's are 64 bit) when August 1st rolls around and the beta shuts down, I should be able to format the Windows 7 drive from the Vista OS? Correct?

Presumably you have at least 2 partitions on the HDD! In the Vista partition, download VistaBootPro from here http://www.pro-networks.org/vistabootpro/ In July/August, run VBP and go to Manage OS Entries > Highlight Win7 > Click X > Confirm the deletion. That partition can now be formatted via Disk Management.

Yes, you will be able to format a partition or drive like usual.

Burr, apparently you misunderstood my question. I have two seperate internal HDD's with theVista os on one and Windows 7 on the other. My question was will I be able to format the Windows 7 hard drive from the Vista drive. My question was answered with an affirmative by Frop, as I had suspected. I hope this explanation makes it crystal clear to you now and thank you for your existingresponse. Rob
