If you still can't remember your password, I would like to propose the following suggestions. 1. Is there another administrator account created on your computer? If so, you can log on with another administrator account and copy important files out from that password lost profile, please note that you need to take ownership of this files first. 2. Back up your data and perform a reinstallation. How to back up your data ======================== Method 1. Boot with Windows PE to copy files to the external disk. If you don't own a Windows PE boot disc, you can download it from the following website. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=c7d4bc6d-15f3-4284-9123-679830d629f2&DisplayLang=en Method 2. Hey, bren3 Kindly try this Windows Password Recovery Basic... A CD/DVD, or a bootable Windows PE USB is required (instructions included). There are many Windows password reset tools, but I haven't personally tested them. Windows Password Recovery Basic is a widely spread edition though... Once reboot the computer with CD/DVD/USB, remove the lost or forgotten password and then log in to your computer without any password.
