folder is in use
When I use my computer to access a network share, once I click on a folder and try to rename it, it won't let and says the folder is in use. I have to wait about one to two minutes before I can successfully rename it. The network share is open to "everyone" and I'm sure there is no one else opening any of the files at the moment. My computer is running Windows 7. The network share is running on Windows Server 2003.

After checking on another thread, I found that the symptom had been resolved by disable "Thumbnail". Hence, I will mark this thread as answered. For more information, please refer to the following link:Folder In UseThanks,Novak

I have this problem also. Happens if I create a file in, say, InDesign, then I save the file in a folder. Then if I want to move that folder, or rename it, it won't let me. "Says file (or folder) is in use in another program." If I then close Indesign I can move the file, or folder. This is very frustrating, not to mention time consuming. Anyone have a solution to this one?
