fix it for windows xp
Read that Fix It was a be all-do all for Microsoft/Windows users--turns out it's not for Windows XP--so what is the 'Fix It' for Windows XP?2 people need an answerI do too

There are many Microsoft "Fix It" solutions. You need to be more specific -- a link to the Fix It in question and/or a description of your problem would be helpful.

You need to be more specific -- a link to the Fix It in question and/or a description of your problem would be helpful.I want to run *fix it* to generally help speed up my computer, e.g. get rid of auto running programs at start-up, and other things I may not be aware of which make Windows XP sluggish. By the way, I use Windows on Parallels, which is on my Mac. That should not impact running fix it, though, I don't think.

That should not impact running fix it, though, I don't think.As far as I know, there is no method -- from Microsoft or elsewhere -- that will "generally help speed up" your computer. One good way to speed up Windows is to make sure that it is malware-free. Try downloading, updating, and runningMalwarebytes AntiMalware and SuperAntiSpyware . And no, I can't tell you if these applications will work properly on an installation of Windows running on a Mac using Parallels.
