I now have windows 7 and have deleted the trial Norton with my new computer, have installed free AVG, does this free version have a firewall? and should i leave the windows firewall running as well??

id advise u to let windows 7 firewall do the job for ya and if u also want to give it a try to Microsoft security essentials AV software....let both working togueta u dun need any other third party ....Native stuff works just better !!!RR

As far as I know, the free version of AVG does not have a firewall. I use the Windows firewall and it seems to work well. I really like Microsoft's Security Essentials for antivirus and malware. It is free as well.
