fatal error c000021a
I have this error... windows boots to blue screen then repeats the reboot. Happened following a sstem restore that didn't do all it was meant to... I think Norton Internet Security is the problem. I have tried starting in safe mode etc and all Advanced Boot options but no difference. Repair your computer finds no errors. System restore fails on all restore points. I can get into command promt but solutions I have found on the web don't do anything. Any ideas please to get out of this cycle of reboots?

The issue can be caused by incompatible driver updates. Try to boot into Last Know Good configuration. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Tried that... in fact tried everything possibe from all system restore points, last known good config etc ... seems like something major was corrupted... so I have decided the easiest way is to restore the whole system back to factory... I think things probably went wrong during the original system restore which throws Norton into a state of confusion, and subsequent restores compounded the problem. Having said that it's also possible that Splashtop is the culprit as I had problems deleting it. But thanks for your advice.
