You may need to backup the data on another computer, and then connect to the Windows 7 RC computer and format it. If the issue persists after you format the drive, I suspect that hardware problem exists.Arthur Xie - MSFT

If it asks if would please to format, a new volume must have bean created. There's still hope though, since all your data is probably lost.
