explorer.exe appears to have issues
this problem is related to the windows 7 (professional) black screen after login problem that others appear to have had, but none have described precisely my problem. and none of those solutions have yielded progress. every time i boot up, my computer refuses to display the desktop or any of my icons, because "explorer.exe" is blocked by antivirus. i can only continue, by disabling my antivirus, before i indicate weather or not i wish to allow the exception. as soon as i got this far, i figured i would just change antiviruses. the system does the exact same thing with Avast!, AVG, and Avira free antivirus. the probability that all 3 virus technologies are all falsely flagging explorer.exe suggests the problem is a little bit deeper. in the several weeks prior to this happening. i had become accustomed to explorer.exe randomly failing and having to restart every couple of hours. i attempted to fix that problem, again finding nobody else having precisely the same symptoms, but being as it only ever caused about 3 seconds of annoyance at a time, i let it slide. im sure that the problem im experiencing now could have been anticipated by that symptom if i were paying more attention. there are no duplicate explorer.exe files, this one is in the correct directory, and appears to be in every manner, a legitimate version of the process, though it MAY have been modified by malware. malwarebytes, avira, adaware, virus scans turn up nothing. when i follow any online solution to attempt to edit the registry, i often find the keys it wishes me to delete, weren't there to begin with. my temporary solution is to simply uninstall all antivirus software, i dislike being left vulerable however. at exactly the time this began to happen, i both installed the IE9 beta(massive mistake, which has achieved the ridicule of my peers) and allowed several windows updates. * as a side note, this has to do with a windows 7 process failure, but i cant seem to pick an appropriate category for it to go in*

You may call the supports of these antiviruses to properly configure the applications. Otherwise, try MSE. It would not crash any system programs in Windows 7.
