eventviewer warning (WLAN AutoConfig) and error (DHCP-Client)
Every startup if I look at the EventViewer it reports this 2 messages: Warning: WLAN AutoConfig service has successfully stopped. (but I see WLAN service is "started" and "automatic") Error: Your computer was not assigned an address from the network (by the DHCP Server) for the Network Card with network address 0x001F1F88F127. The following error occurred: 0x79. Your computer will continue to try and obtain an address on its own from the network address (DHCP) server. I can have an explanation: once in the TCP/IP wifi adapter properties I chose a fixed IP for my connection (instead of automatically chosen). But after few days I reported it to "obtained automatically" Moreover I have another error typed Kernel-Event Tracing that says: Session "Microsoft-Windows-Setup" stopped due to the following error: 0xC000000D But this is another issue I will open a thread in the proper forum Regards

Hi, Thanks for the post! Warning: WLAN AutoConfig service has successfully stopped. You can consider it as informative if everything works fine. Refer to this thread: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/en-us/w7itpronetworking/thread/82143196-0571-4312-9566-B6E5C7FFDA05 · Error: Your computer was not assigned an address from the network (by the DHCP Server) for the Network Card with network address 0x001F1F88F127. The following error occurred: 0x79. Your computer will continue to try and obtain an address on its own from the network address (DHCP) server. For this issue, you can refer to the resolution in Identify and fix any network connectivity problems. Hope it helps.
