Hi fesheng,- When exactly do you get this error message? Is it while starting the computer or while using any application?- Why exactly did you restore the computer? What was the changes that was made to the computer due to which you had to restore? Try placing your system in Clean boot state to identify the application causing this issue. Putting your system in clean boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue. If yes, you may have to contact the program manufacturer for any updates or uninstall and re-install the program. Here’s the article you may refer to for steps with reference to the same. How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" stateNote: After troubleshooting, make sure to put the computer to start as usual as mentioned here:To configure Windows to use a Normal startup stateAfter you used the clean boot to resolve your problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally. a. Click Start, and then click Run.b. Type msconfig, and then click OK. The System Configuration Utility dialog box is displayed.c. Click the General tab, click Normal Startup - load all device drivers and services, and then click OK.d. When you are prompted, click Restart to restart the computer.Regards,Divya R – Microsoft Support.Visit our Microsoft Answers Feedback Forum and let us know what you think.

Try to do a little better than that with the messages you see remembering that we cannot see your screen and what it says.Ox..and c50(3152) etc. That is not enough information to be as helpful as possible - don't abbreviate and try to post the entire message exactly. If you are getting a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD), do this:Here is a BSOD example showing information you need to provide:http://techrepublic.com.com/i/tr/downloads/images/bsod_a.jpgSend the information pointed to with the red arrows (3-4 lines total). Send the entire *** STOP message line since there are clues in the 4 parameters. If there is a file name listed under the STOP message, be sure to include that information too.Skip the boring text unless it looks important to you. We know what a BSOD looks like, we need to know what your BSOD looks like. You have a Presario. What model?Maybe someday the XP forums "Ask a question" dialog will ask these questions automatically when a new thread is started so I do not have to ask them every single time. It might even be possible to resolve an issue in a single reply when enough information is provided. Please provide additional information about your system:What is your XP Version and Service Pack?Describe your current antivirus and anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc.Was the issue preceded by a power interruption, aborted restart, or improper shutdown? (this includes plug pulling, power buttons, removing the battery, etc.)Does the afflicted system have a working CD/DVD drive?Do you have a genuine bootable XP installation CD (this is not the same as any Recovery CDs that came with your system)? What do you see that you don't think you should be seeing? What do you not see that you think you should be seeing?Fill in the blank: My system was working fine until this happened: ____________________________________________.If the system used to work properly, what do you think might have changed since the last time it did work properly?Do, or do not. There is no try.I decided to save up points for a new puppy instead of a pony!
