error when right clicking in windows explorer
Ok, here's the problem I'm having. If I'm in my documents, or anywhere in windows explorer and right click on something, an error screen pops up. At first it had the send/don't send error option...now it just says close, with the text cursor blinking in the top section of text as it would if it were MS Word, BUT IT'S AN ERROR SCREEN and from my experience that has never happened before.I would copy the error details, but I don't even have that option on this one.I am running the latest version of Norton 360, full, not trial. Full scan found nothing. Already ran a quick scan option, nothing came up. Ok, i figured something out, it's not any folder i click on, it's a specific one, any time i try to right click on it or delete it through the del button on the keyboard, or from the taskbar. I can't delete it, period. Will try safe mode, hopefully it will work.2 people need an answerI do too

Hey,This is what I would recommend you to do.1. Boot your computer in Safe Mode with Networking by restarting your computer and pressing F8 until the Advanced Boot Options appear.2. Select Safe Mode with Networking.3. Open Internet Explorer and run a Full Service Scan of our OneCare Safety Scanner located athttp://safety.live.com.4. Take note of the items that it detected but CANNOT remove. Get back to me with the names of those items, if any.4. Restart the computer in the Normal Mode (the normal way you restart the computer).5. See if that problem still happens. If it still happens, perform a System Restore by clicking Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and System Restore. Select aRestore Point. Select a restore point that contains the date before the problem started.Let me know if this helps.
