Every time I start up Windows XP I get an error message saying it can't find "C:\Windows\mdede1.dll" what can I do to eliminate this? FYI it appeared to start when I installed Verizon high speed Internet and I use AVG anti-virus free program.1 person needs an answerI do too

Hello,Run sfc/scannow and chkdsk/r to do this just open the command prompt and type in sfc/scannow and chkdsk/r one after the other.
