error message: recycle bin is corrupted
Has anybody else seen this message and is there a fix for it? I am getting this infrequently for about 2 days now.splash screenreads: recycle bin is corrupted, empty recycle bin nowplatform: Windows 7 RC 64 bitThanks....

On which partition the Recycle Bin is corrupt? For example, if Recycle Bin on C drive is corrupt, you may follow the steps below to delete Recycle Bin.
1. Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator.2. Type the following command and press ENTER:
rd /s /q C:\$Recycle.bin
3. Close the Command Prompt window.

I loged on as administrator but still get the Access Denied prompt when excecuting the comand.

I have the same problem but it wont let me fix it this way. I have an eleveated command prompt open and I type rd /s /q d:\$recycle.bin I hit enter and I get 5 access is denied lines.
d:\$recycle.bin\S-1-5-~1 - Access is denied.
d:\$recycle.bin\S-1-5-~2 - Access is denied.
d:\$recycle.bin\S-1-5-~3 - Access is denied.
d:\$recycle.bin\S-3f32~1 - Access is denied.
d:\$recycle.bin\S-1-5-~4 - Access is denied.
What am i doing wrong and how do I fix it? BTW i am running windows 7 pro 64bit and I am the built in administrator. I can post a screen shot if that would make it easier.

I also got same problem with sp1 and without sp1 also tried. No Luck:)
