Picture It!: The Windows Installer in Picture It! runs when you click Send or when you run the spelling checker in Outlook Express:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/294731Bruce HagenMS-MVP Oct. 1, 2004 ~ Sept. 30, 2010Imperial Beach, CA

Uh-oh! It looks like MS yanked the original KB article that was the fix. What you see when you click on that link now is not what it used to show. I'll do some searching, but...................???Bruce HagenMS-MVP Oct. 1, 2004 ~ Sept. 30, 2010Imperial Beach, CA

Help Please!I even went into the registry to see if anything was there. Only thing it showed was a reference to OE in PIP and not wanting to mess up anything I just let it be. I sure would like my spell check back to normal.Should I ...or better yet, can I reinstall OE? Would it not take away my messages etc. What can I do? Links aren't workingThanks for any help you can give.Marv

I haven't been able to find anything new. What spell check are you using? (OE doesn't have its own). Does spell checking only cause this, or does pressing Send do it as well? The only way to reinstall OE is to reinstall XP as it is a part of it. Try in a new identity. File | Identity | Add New Identity. Create a new one and test it. If all is well, you can import your messages and Address Book from the old identity and delete it.Note: Do not use the word Main in the name of the new identity. How to Create and Use Identities in Outlook Expresshttp://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=209169Bruce HagenMS-MVP Oct. 1, 2004 ~ Sept. 30, 2010Imperial Beach, CA
